Boston College basketball player arrested after domestic violence report

A Boston College University student was arrested on charges of domestic violence, according to the school’s website.

The arrest comes after a report from the BSU Office of Victim Services said a female student was hit with a glass bottle and that a man was injured.

The report said the man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition, according the BSN site.

The university released a statement saying that the student has been suspended from campus pending further investigation.

Boston College will have to wait to hear back from the office until it receives a police report, the school said in a statement.

The student, identified by police as Jamey C., is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
