The Big Ten Conference’s four teams are undefeated and have earned an SEC championship game berth in each of the last three seasons.
There are six other unbeaten teams in the Big 12 Conference and five in the Pac-12 Conference, along with the defending national champions of the ACC and Big Ten, the SEC’s Auburn Tigers and the Big Ten’s Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Big Ten has four undefeated teams.
The ACC has five and the Pac 12 has five.
The SEC has six and the ACC, Big 12 and Pac-10 have seven.
The ACC has won two of its last three titles, the most recent coming in 2012 when it beat rival Virginia Tech 52-0 in the Orange Bowl.
The teams that have been undefeated since the start of the season include Duke, which has the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft, Clemson, which beat Kentucky and Notre Dame, and Georgia, which was the No 3 seed in the 2016 NFL draft and beat Florida State and Alabama.
The SEC has won three of its past four national titles and was the only Power Five conference team to have two unbeaten teams.
Georgia was the first SEC team to win three national championships since 2005.
The last time the SEC beat two teams ranked in the top four in the AP poll was 2004.
The league has won six of its eight national titles.
The Pac-8 Conference has won five consecutive conference titles, most recently in 2011.
The NFL draft is set for June 23 and can be seen at 1 p.m.
ET/7 a.m., CT, on ESPN and CBS.
NFL teams have the option to be on the field for free or pay the $4.5 million per team minimum.
NFL Network will air the draft live on NFL Network, with coverage starting at 5 p.M.
The College Football Playoff, which will be named the College Football Championship Game, will be televised on ESPN at 1:30 p..m./4:30 a.M., CT and ESPN2 at 7 p.BST on the Big Five Networks.
The AP top 100 will be released June 24, with ESPN, ESPN2 and CBS releasing the top 25 and final rankings after the June 27 ESPN/ESPN Classic on ESPN.
The final AP poll will be announced June 28.
The rankings will be compiled by ESPN/ABC News and ESPN Insider, with the top 10 ranked teams, according to those rankings, being the AP Top 100, ESPN’s AP Top 25 and CBS’s AP Poll.
The final national championship game will be played June 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Associated Press Top 25 for 2017 will be published June 29.
